The hostel is conveniently located near Ueno and Inaricho stations, making it easy to explore Tokyo. the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. the staff, especially the morning and evening reception staff, are friendly and accommodating.

The location of this hostel was exceptional. It was conveniently close to the subway station, making it easy to explore the city. Plus, there were plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so finding something to eat or buy was never a problem. Another great aspect was the cleanliness of the hostel. Despite being a shared space, everything was well-maintained and tidy. The staff was also friendly and understanding, which added to the positive experience.

One downside was the limited number of showers. There were only three available, which sometimes resulted in having to wait in line.

I recently stayed at a great hostel in Ueno for a few nights. The staff at AND HOSTEL were incredibly friendly and lovely. The place itself was new, modern, and very clean. It's conveniently located within walking distance of Ueno Station and there's a metro stop nearby. Plus, there's a large 24-hour supermarket just a short walk away. The hostel also had a spacious lounge and a well-equipped shared kitchen. They even offered a convenient luggage storage service for a small fee. it was a fantastic experience!

The hostel was conveniently located near the subway station and a shopping area. It was also in a safe and quiet location, which was a plus. the common area on the first floor was well-equipped with everything needed to prepare and heat up food.

Highly recommended for backpackers who are not confident in their Japanese skills. the rooms were nice, clean, and functional. We especially loved the modern and stylish vibe of the hostel. The beds were really comfortable and the blankets were thick, perfect for a good night's sleep. I also liked how the curtains were long, blocking out any light so I could sleep in peace. the location was great, with Asakusa and Ueno park/station just a short walk away. This made it easy to explore the city and visit popular attractions. having a kitchen with a lot of equipment was a bonus, even though I didn't use it.
